- Conducted preconstruction surveys for Desert tortoises (a state-protected
species), Gila monsters (a state-protected species), Rosy boas, Arizona
cliffrose (a federally endangered species), and raptors at sites in
western Arizona
- Conducted relocation surveys for Desert tortoises during the installation
of a desert tortoise exclusion fence along a highway in central Arizona
- Provided desert tortoise training for construction personnel
National Park Service:
- Monitored population size and activity of Lesser long-nosed bats (a
federally endangered species) in a National Park in southern
Arizona
- Conducted site evaluation for a proposed National Natural Landmark.
- Conducted buffelgrass eradication
University of Arizona:
- Assisted with a study of the ecology and conservation of Narrow-headed
gartersnakes (a state-protected species) at various Arizona sites
